KITCHEN MISADVENTURE SERIES – Chicken Asado

Here is another chicken dish that is just perfect for the kids' baon...it's so easy to make and quite delicious too! It's quite similar to the adobo wherein you just have to mix everything together - the chicken, garlic, onion, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, muscovado sugar, salt and pepper. Add a bit of water and let the mixture boil. (I biked for 30 minutes while it boiled and only went down to check the water level twice). Then, when the mixture had been reduced, turn off the fire. In a non-stick pan, add sesame oil and fry the chicken pieces, add the remaining soy mixture and a bit of honey, turning the chicken pieces every now and then so that it does not burn...after a few minutes...voila! Another delish baon for the kids! Thanks again, Dennis! (you may check out the exact recipe at his blogsite - mgalutonidennis.blogsite.com)
