KITCHEN MISADVENTURE SERIES - CHEESE AND POTATO SOUP
	This is another dish that I made today for my sick daughter – warm and hearty soup with her fave ingredient – cheese! I saw this one day in Casa Veneracion’s blog and I knew right then and then that this would be one surefire dish that would be a hit with my family. And I was right! The process is quite simple really. (just check out her blog for the complete recipe) All that is needed is to cook the potatoes and onion in butter, add the home-made broth and season with salt and pepper. When the potatoes have softened, process or puree in a blender until smooth then return to the pot. Add the cheese and some parsley for garnish before serving. Thanks again Connie! This truly made my daughter’s day! 
P.S. The next photo shows what we had to go with the soup – fried chicken and potato salad…yummy!
