Nope, this is not actually a new dish but rather another comfort food of sorts - a dish that’s quite easy to make and one that I just fall back on when I fail to think up anything new to cook. Anyway, my kids love this and so this is actually an almost weekly item in our breakfast/baon menu. What’s more, I can pre-boil the dish the night before in soy sauce, calamansi, pepper, garlic and onions so that the next day, what would be left for me to do is simply fry the pork slices in oil, return the marinade/sauce that I boiled them in last night, drop the freshly sliced onion rings before turning off the fire and voila! Breakfast/baon is done!
