KITCHEN MISADVENTURE SERIES – Pan-grilled chicken BBQ
This is another easy recipe that's perfect for the kids' baon. I got this recipe from Dennis' Lutong Bahay blog. First, you need to season the chicken in salt and pepper for a few minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients. But I opted to marinate the chicken overnight in the mixture of bbq sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and some minced garlic. Then, the next day when I awoke I let the chicken boil in its marinade mixture and added a little water. After about thirty minutes, the mixture would be reduced. Continue pan-grilling the chicken, (it is best if your pan is non-stick), while brushing with some honey and turning the chicken every so often so that it will not burn. I packed this chicken with hot rice in the kids lunch boxes and thankfully, the meal was a sure hit! Thanks Dennis! You may get the exact recipe at his website (mgalutonidennis.blogspot.com).
