This afternoon, when we finished our shopping for the Christmas Noche Buena and as we waited for our ride to pick us up, my daughter and I chanced upon this new kiosk serving Korean ice cream...they said when it was first introduced the lines were just humongous but I guess that’s just how it is with fads, you need to create much hype to create much interest and make the people curious enough to wait in line...pretty much like what happened with Krispy Kreme when it was introduced or the cronuts. But in time, the public will soon get to distinguish the hype from those that truly taste good and this is what happened to the Korean Ice cream. Well, the ice cream itself was not spectacular, just the regular plain vanilla and chocolate that can be usually be bought in dispensable soft serves sprouting all around in malls. What was unusual was the cone that the ice cream comes in, as it was shaped like a J and had ice cream on both ends – just cool!
