Today is the People Power Anniversary holiday but since P-Noy did not see it fit to declare it a holiday, we had work today …only the kids have a holiday and so my daughter went with us to the office just to hang out and use the internet in my PC. After work, we decided to drop by SM Department store to buy a gift for Inang, we decided to buy her a dish drainer like the one we recently bought for our kitchen but just a bigger version. Then, we added some matching plates, serving bowls, saucers, glasses and cutlery since every time we come over for a visit we end up always searching for these things whenever it’s time to eat…so what better gift to give her than a complete set huh!?! Then, just as we were already paying at the counter, my daughter suddenly glanced upon the rows and rows of bikes and guess what else she saw?...a pink Barbie scooter! She didn’t have to say anything much…I bet she just batted her long pleading look at her tatay and he had no choice but to give in to her wishes… anyway, she is entitled to a gift naman since she is running for honors this year and she is sure to receive a medal for being Best in Math so we both gave in… I just hope that she does well in her exams and that she would indeed finish within her Class Top Ten this school year! I also hope that she would be careful and not get into any accident using the scooter…keep safe baby!
