This next meal was again based on Connie Veneracion/Sassy’s Orange and Honey Glazed Porkchops (check out her blog for the recipe)Again this was another hit meal for the kiddos! My only problem with the dish I made is that the porkchops were still not tender enough (maybe it’s the kind of meat that I bought) or it could be that my decision not to let all the liquid dry up since my kids want to have a bit of sauce to spoon over their rice did not help matters any. Furthermore, next time I would follow Connie and use real oranges next time and not the ponkan variety so that the sauce would have that natural orange tang instead of being sweet…oh well, it still tasted good but I would do better the next time.
