JUSTIN’S BIRTHDAY

Today, we celebrated the birthday of one of our favorite pamangkins…favorite because he lived with us when he was barely a year old and grew up with us because his parents were busy with their jobs as vendors in Divisoria and so he fell under the care of his lola who was then staying with us. He was our dear little baby for more than a year and his parents only come once or twice in a month to visit him and bring him milk and diapers. Those other moments when they could not provide for his needs, we more than willingly gave him. And so it is not a surprise that we would hold this birthday party for him…anyway, it’s nothing really spectacular – just some spaghetti and menudo (that Ditse cooked), lechon manok and a cake (that we bought), of course!
